Snap dragon is an annual flower that is grown from a seed, and reaches anywhere from 1-3.5ft in height. They can be red, orange, yellow, violet, white, or pink. The latin name is Antirrhinum. The flower is believed to be from the mediterranean basin, Italy, and Spain. It was named snapdragon because the flowers look like the mouth of a dragon.
Basil:
The Basil plant can be perennial in warm tropical climates, but ours is an annual species. The latin name is Ocimum basilicum. It is from the mint family, Lamiaceae. It is native to India, China, Southeast Asia, and New Guinea. It was domesticated in India.
Tiger Lily/ Asian Lily
The Tiger Lily, also known as the asian lily is a flowering perennial plant, native to the northern hemisphere. Lilies grow from bulbs and range in height from 2-6ft. The latin name for the general lily is Linnaean. Species of lilies come in whites, yellows, oranges, pinks, reds, and purples. They flower in late spring or early summer.
